Abby felt her heart pounding in her chest, and it was hard for her to breathe quietly. Wherever she looked, she saw something that scared her. She desperately searched for a light switch near the door, but it wasn’t there. She reached a little to the side, but quickly pulled her hand back as she felt something sticky.
Moments later, something crawled over her hand, and Abby managed to suppress her scream. She had touched a spider web, and the spider had landed on her hand. Abby swung her hand back and forth until the little creature flew away. Out of frustration, Abby began to cry. She wanted to get out of there.
