Abby asked her mother if she could get the small shovels that were in the shed to play as a gardener in the backyard. Her mother didn’t see any problem with that and said she could get them from the shed.
When Abby told her that the shed was locked, her mother looked visibly surprised. Her mother went to the shed and tried it herself, apparently confused that it wouldn’t open.
