Soon enough, Romeo started making human friends as well. He behaved like a big dog, bringing “treasures” to people and approaching them in the park to share. It was as if he did all of this to make the residents see him in a positive light.
Nick and the locals were certain that Romeo posed no threat to them or their dogs. Some people even dared to approach him and pet him. Of course, children were warned to keep their distance.
