A Long-lasting Friendship
After a while, it seemed like Romeo had moved in with Nick and Dakotah’s family. Of course, the wolf hadn’t literally done so, but he visited them very frequently. If he wasn’t at the park, Romeo could be found in Nick’s backyard. And so, life went on for six long years. There are very few individuals in the world who have successfully kept wolves as pets. But most of the time, it is illegal and very challenging to manage.
Although wolves are related to dogs, they don’t have the same accommodating nature and compassion as their cousins. Taming and training a wolf would require much more effort. Ultimately, a wolf remains a wild animal with potentially aggressive and unpredictable instincts.
