Lack of Pigmentation

The only logical explanation was quite uninteresting. Apparently, there were simply animals, like humans, that couldn’t produce pigmentation. Maybe the vet knew more about it. Waiting became boring.

Even the vet’s receptionist became curious now. She briefly spoke with the vet, and a few moments later, they were called in. Billy was pleased because he had thought they would have to wait for another hour for sure.

Taking Shadow Away

The vet inspected Shadow closely, then took him to another room. Billy thought they would be allowed to witness the examination, but apparently, the vet had some tests to run. So they waited patiently.

The family waited hopefully for the vet to return, which happened about 10 minutes later. However, he didn’t have Shadow with him. Before they could ask any questions, he led the family to another room.
