Bringing the horse home

Jane named her new friend “Shadow” and they managed to contact the vet on the same day. They would visit him the next day to have the horse examined, and he would issue them a certificate if everything was okay.

When they arrived, Shadow inspected every corner of the stable. He immediately seemed comfortable and almost fell asleep right away. It had been a long and tiring day, but Shadow had found his family!

Not yet knowing the truth

The family had already fallen head over heels in love with the horse and they were incredibly happy to have brought it home. They watched as the horse settled in and were grateful to be part of its life.

Soon, the rest of the family went to bed. They had provided everything for Shadow to feel comfortable and now left him alone. It had also been an exhausting day for them, and the next day with the vet would be exciting.
