Bedtime Stories
Leo had been able to share many moments with his grandfather. The bonds they had formed were even stronger than they had expected. Even with the grandfather’s illness, Leo took every story he told to heart. But he doubted their truthfulness, as the stories seemed far-fetched. All the stories were intriguing as they resembled those the little boy had seen on television or in movies.
Leo had never truly believed his grandfather, but the old man insisted that everything was true. Despite the doubt he felt, his grandfather’s persistence was unmatched. His parents had explained to him that it was due to Alzheimer’s. Tom was inventing all these stories himself. Leo’s little sister, Gigi, believed everything their grandpa told her. But she was only four years old, after all.
