Losing Their Grandfather
Experiencing a loss in a family is devastating and incredibly difficult. The emotions are like a roller coaster ride. Sometimes, people try to move on or grieve in a way that doesn’t affect them while trying to accept the remnants of what they’ve lost. All the while cherishing every moment spent with that person. Now that Leo had lost his grandfather, there were so many things to navigate through in such a short amount of time.
The week before, Tom had left this world. He passed away due to complications related to his Alzheimer’s. But despite the illness, Leo had cherished the time spent with his grandfather, as the usually quiet man had suddenly started telling extravagant stories.
