The Rolling Stones Release Highly Anticipated Album “Hackney Diamonds” after 18-Year Hiatus

Rolling Stones Release New Album “Hackney Diamonds” after 18 Years

After a long 18-year wait, the Rolling Stones have finally released a new album. Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, and Ronnie Wood put an end to the anticipation as they announced the news at the Hackney Empire Theater in London. Despite the band members being in their late 70s and early 80s, they remain as energetic as ever.

During the announcement, Jagger mentioned that they were gathered to introduce their new song titled “Angry,” along with its accompanying music video, which they would showcase later. Jagger further revealed that “Angry” is the lead single from their upcoming album called “Hackney Diamonds,” which is set to be released on October 20th. The band’s choice of the title “Hackney Diamonds” metaphorically signifies broken glass.

This album holds significant importance as it marks the first release since the passing of Charlie Watts. The legendary Rolling Stones drummer sadly passed away in April 2021. Last year, amidst the band’s Europe tour, Steve Jordan filled in on drums for Watts, who had been with the group since 1962.

Fans of the Rolling Stones have eagerly awaited new material from the band, and “Hackney Diamonds” promises to deliver their signature rock sound. With their enduring talent and remarkable ability to captivate audiences, the Rolling Stones continue to solidify their legendary status in the music industry.
