Unusual Colors
Fortunately for Peter, this snake was almost impossible to overlook, even though he was distracted by daydreaming and not paying full attention.
The grass, paths, bushes, and trees around him were predominantly green and brown, which would typically provide perfect camouflage for a snake. However, this particular creature was unusually vibrant in colors.
Was she poisonous?
Peter didn’t know much about snakes. He couldn’t distinguish between venomous and non-venomous ones. But he remembered that snakes and other wildlife rarely displayed such color patterns.
