Bluff Charges
A bluff charge occurs when a gorilla charges towards someone but stops around one meter from the target. If the target submits or shows no aggressive response, the gorilla will let them go unharmed, as they have not provoked any violent reaction.
However, if the target of a bluff charge attempts to flee, the gorilla will pursue them. Gorillas are fast and can easily catch a fleeing human. Once caught, a gorilla generally bites the accessible body part of the target.
