Lying to her father
Abbys father was now as pale as a ghost. “I thought I had cleared everything! I’m so sorry, Abbs. But what were you doing in there? Did you see anything or, uh, find something?” her father stammered.
Abby shook her head. “I was just playing,” she said. She didn’t want her father to get suspicious. After that night, her father always kept the key to the shed with him.
