Cracked Glass and Hope
The only damage to the watch was a cracked glass and a few internal mechanisms that could easily be replaced. While these components were readily available and inexpensive, there was also some disappointing news. Steven had hoped that the cleaner would identify a brand or recognize the model, allowing him to estimate its value.
He had prayed that it might be a Rolex or something equally valuable. Unfortunately, that was not the case. The cleaner couldn’t find any recognizable marks and hadn’t come across a watch like this before. Online research yielded no results either.
