Yelling in the distance
There was no wind, so Mike thought that maybe his friends could hear him and would come back if he shouted loud enough. However, no one showed up. They were probably too far away and hadn’t noticed his absence. Mike skated back to the car to see if there was anything sharp or heavy left inside. But unfortunately, he found nothing useful inside the vehicle.
Mike thought for a few seconds to decide on a logical next step. That’s when he saw his friends quickly heading towards the car in the middle of the lake. They had probably noticed he was no longer there. Some friends seemed irritated. However…
