Cleo: The Brave Dog Who Refused to Give Up

Cleo, a medium-size dog, was found lying on the side of the road by a gardener, Cara mar-Severin. She was in poor health and almost unconscious. Upon further examination, it was discovered that one of the vertebrae in her lumbar region was broken, most likely from being run over by a car and then thrown into a landfill. Her hind legs were unusable, and it was clear that she would need ongoing care and attention.
