A Presence in Asia
Despite the period of banishment in China, Brad Pitt isn’t just a mega-celebrity in the United States; the Asian community also capitalizes on his fame. And we’re not just talking about his films being global hits. Once your face is well-known enough, big corporations are interested in paying for that face to endorse their products and services, regardless of where in the world you hail from.
And so, Pitt appeared in a series of commercials aired exclusively in Asian countries. He starred in a Toyota commercial specifically broadcasted in the Asian market. In Japan, he was also the face of Edwin Jeans and starred in commercials for a Japanese canned coffee brand named “Roots.” Moreover, you’ve probably spotted Brad in other coffee commercials as well, since he was recently appointed as the global brand ambassador for De’Longhi.
