An Ironic Twist
Being an actor isn’t all fun and games. Sometimes, it can be downright perilous on set, especially when it comes to action films. That’s why stunt doubles are so frequently employed in filmmaking. Ironically, Pitt didn’t use a stunt double when portraying the ancient hero Achilles in the film “Troy,” and he ended up with an unfortunate injury.
The actor injured his Achilles tendon while performing a stunt for the film, which ironically left him limping for a while. Fortunately, that was the only injury he sustained on set.
