Despite Romeo’s seemingly friendly nature towards Dakotah, Nick knew he was still a wild animal. Wolves need their own space, so the photographer kept a watchful eye on Romeo when he visited the dog, always maintaining a certain distance. Nick made sure not to get too close to the wolf.
Word about Romeo frequently visiting Dakotah quickly spread throughout the community. Some people even stopped by Nick’s house just to catch a glimpse of this incredible creature. And indeed, there was a large black wolf, playing with Dakotah as if he were an ordinary dog.
